I honestly believe . . .

God has turned His face away from America and has cursed her to destruction. No power on Earth can reverse her course. No power can prevent her utter demise. The die has been cast . . . and the outcome is inevitable.

No . . . I am not an alarmist!
No . . . I am not a pessimist!
I am simply telling you what I see. You decide for yourself.

Consider the following . . .

Curse And Be Cursed

First, thousands of years ago, God called a man name Abram out of modern-day Iraq to come to modern-day Israel. God renamed this man Abraham and told him that He would make Abraham into a great nation (ie, Israel) and would bless all peoples on the Earth through him (ie, Messiah). God also told him:

"I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse." Genesis 12:3

Second, sixty years or so ago, the United States of America "cursed" the jews. During the early days of WWII, our government learned for a fact that Hitler and the Nazis were exterminating European jews [e.g., aerial photographs, eyewitness reports and intercepted SS Enigma transmissions]. Not only did the U.S. government not intervene to stop the holocaust, it kept the atrocities a secret. Further, the U.S. government, through its VERY strict immigration quotas, refused to allow thousands of European jews from immigrating to this country knowing full well those people would be slaughtered.

For example, in June 1938, 937 Jewish refugees escaped Hitler's Europe aboard the steamship, S.S. St. Louis. They travelled all the way to Cuba but were not allowed to get off. They tried to come to the Unied States, but were denied permission. They had to return to Europe! Although they were taken-in by various European countries, many were later caught-up by Hitler's "Final Solution" and were slaughtered by the Nazis. If to curse someone is to bring great evil upon them [Webster's 9th Collegiate Dictionary], then surely America cursed these jews by these acts and omissions to act.

Third, as the result of America cursing (ie, bringing great evil upon) the jews during WWII, America brought upon herself the curse of God Almighty. Otherwise, Holy Scriptures are bunk and God is a liar and does not mean what He says!!

Historical Proof

But some will say: "If we were cursed in the late 1930s or the early 1940s, how could we emerge from the war as the greatest military and economic power to have ever existed on the face of the Earth?" Good question. Still others will argue that things didn't start to go bad in America until prayer was removed from schools; or until abortion rights were upheld; or until Viet Nam; or until the "free love 60s"; or until 9/11; or until some other event.

And all of this is true . . . to a degree! But Biblical history, if it has taught us anything, has taught us at least two things:

First, very few things in life or on Earth happen instantaneously. For example, you slam on your brakes here, you come to a stop 100 yards later. You water a plant today, it grows to an ear of corn in 3 months from now.

God turned His face away from America sixty years ago -- but the consequences of that abandonment were not felt by us as a nation for years, or even decades.

Second, just as God raised up Nebuchadnezzar to carry out His will and purpose for Israel in ancient times, only to utterly destroy and wipe Assyria/Babylon off the face of the Earth after those purposes were accomplished, God can do the very same thing to America!!

In our day, God's will and purpose was to re-establish Israel as a "nation among nations". This rebirth of Israel was prophesied by the prophets of old as a necessary prerequisite to Jesus' second coming.

The U.S. emerged from WWII as the world's undisputed military and economic power -- the only nation with a nuclear arsenal and the proven will to use it. Three years later, in May 1948, Israel declared her nationhood for the first time in nearly 2000 years. And it was the U.S. [backed by her nuclear arsenal] that was first to recognize her as a sovereign nation. At that time, in that place, if the U.S. said "yes", who could say "no"?

So . . . the U.S. carried out God's will and purpose and insured the rebirth and survival of God's chosen and holy people as a national entity, Israel. Now, the U.S., like Assyria/Babylon, must complete the course and suffer the consequences of having cursed the jews.

Think about it for a minute. Can't you see the signs? Do you feel safe and secure? Do the headlines frighten you? Is it me or does every day seem more strange and more frightening than the day before. Do you see more problems, but fewer solutions?!!

What About Revival?

So there is no misunderstanding, let me make a distinction between America as a nation and America as a people.

As a nation, I believe we are doomed to destruction -- brought on by our curse of the jews back in WWII. But as a people, there is always hope. I sincerely believe that many people of America will experience a tremendous revival in their faith and rededicate themselves to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. When this country loses its pre-imminent status in the world, and I believe it will be quick and decisive like a "thief in the night", many will see the folly of their ways and will by the millions, turn back to God. Although I believe that as a nation our best and brightest days are well behind us, I also believe that as individuals our best and brightest days -- on a spiritual level -- lie ahead of us in the very near future.

Think about this . . . what if America's military, economic and/or technological base collapsed? We ride a three-legged beast. But, like a three-legged table, if one of the legs fails, the whole collapses. What do you think would happen if any or all of these three legs failed? What would happen, for example, if the stock market collapsed and all the baby-boomers had their 401Ks and pensions COMPLETELY wiped out? Ultimately, after the chaos that would surely follow, these people would have no recourse but to look to God. Ergo, REVIVAL!!! Only a catastrophe will lead the people of this nation back to God. And believe me folks, that catastrophe is headed for us at the speed of light!! It will be awful. But ultimately it will be the greatest thing to happen to the people of this country. The nation will be destroyed, but the people will be given another chance and many will see the error of their ways, repent and find and follow the righteous path of our Lord. They will live in the strength, the mercy and the glory of God.

Pray!!

For the record, this is NOT a message of doom and gloom although many will see it that way. In reality, this is a message of hope. Unimaginably difficult times are upon us, but there is HOPE. His name is Jesus, the Holiest of all Holy names. No matter what happens, He [our Creator] is totally and completely in charge and in control. Yes, there will be dramatic changes, but these changes will be used by Him to test, purify and bring us back to Him! He loves us but we, the people of this nation, have separated ourselves from him for a long time. We have worshipped a false god -- a three-legged beast of a nation -- and He wants it to stop. And it will stop! We will either turn back to Him or we will be destroyed.

Therefore, pray not for this country, for its days are numbered. Besides, salvation is for people, NOT nations! So, pray for one another that we may have faith in Him, hope in His plan for us, and love for Him and one another. Also, pray for strength for yourself and for your neighbor, that you may both be able to endure to the end. We will need that as well. But ask for it and He will give it willingly. God Bless us all.
